Alaina Lynn Jaques

October 4, 2010 - February 12, 2011
Our sweet niece, Alaina, passed away and returned home to our loving Heavenly Father, Saturday night. The cause is still unknown. My heart breaks for my brother, Josh, & sister in law, Jaime. And it also breaks for my nephews, Carsen & Garrett. I keep thinking this is a dream & I just need to wake up. I went down the night of her passing to be with my family. I am amazed at Josh & Jaime's faith. Don't get me wrong, they are hurting tremendously, but they also are at peace knowing she is where she is supposed to be. The Lord has a greater calling for her. Josh & Jaime are wonderful parents. They are examples of what a family should be like. It is any parents worst fear, to lose a child. To be in that position is probably the most heart wrenching thing a parent could experience. But, to have that much faith & the ETERNAL perspective on things, makes it easier. I don't know how people could move on not knowing there is life after death. This is not the end. We will see Alaina again. She is in Heaven with loved ones who have passed on. Josh & Jaime have a Celestial daughter. She is preparing a way for them to be with her again, & she is theirs FOREVER!

Josh & Jaime- We love you guys so much! We wish we could take all the pain & sorrow you are experiencing away. We wish that you didn't have to go through such heartache. We admire your faith & trust you have for our Heavenly Father & his plan. It's a long road ahead of you, but you will make it through. Time heals all wounds. Maybe not completely, but enough to lessen the pain. Keep your chins up & hold tight to each other.

Oh my gosh Jayme, I am so sorry for your family's loss. I absolutely can not imagine what they are going through right now. You have a very very strong family with everything that has gone on in the last little while. How is your nephew doing? It is true that we need our Faith to continue on thru these hard times, but still we wonder why it happens to us sometimes. But our Heavenly Father loves us very much and it is part of the plan. I commend you and your family for your strength. Just want to let you know that I have been thinking about you guys and our prayers are with you.
